Claire & Chris - A Breathtaking Wedding in the Swiss Alps, Crans-Montana

It’s a rarity to meet a couple as entirely magnetic as Claire and Chris. Their sincerity, shared excitement for life, and their dedication to those dear to them have merited them a fiercely loyal group of supporters from every corner of the world where their adventures have taken them.

The Swiss beauty and the congenial Aussie gent share an enthusiasm for life that is simply contagious. Their first meeting was arranged by mutual friend Shaun during university – he and Chris had been pals since primary school, and Shaun befriended Claire during high school. It was over a luncheon arranged by Shaun that Claire first met Chris. Both were immediately taken with each other. From that day on, they became their own inseparable team.

The next six wonderful years breezed by, a happy blur of traveling together, enjoying their favorite foods, spending time with friends, and Claire cleaning up after Chris. Both of them make a regular practice of reflecting on how very lucky they feel to have found each other and to navigate life together side by side. Their days of partying into the wee hours and pushing through the next morning’s tequila hangovers slowly gave way to quiet dinners and watching Netflix together over steaming cups of tea. Their respect for each other’s values and individuality has strengthened their bond over the years.

7th July, 2018: The day dawned warm and bright over the Alps in Valais, with only a few wispy clouds among the mountain peaks. Claire and Chris had spent a blissful week in Switzerland with their families in celebratory preparation for the long-awaited day. The wedding day was laid back from start to finish: as exquisite and organic as Claire and Chris themselves. The ceremony took place at Notre-Dame de Crêtaz d'Asse - a little chapel at the panoramic apex of Crans Montana, and a place of special significance to Claire and her family. A gracious reception followed at the Hôtel Royal in the heart of Crans, where guests enjoyed an opulent dinner punctuated by heartfelt toasts and dancing late into the night. What a day to remember!

Caitlin & Joe - Wedding in Nyon, Switzerland

A pair of lovers in a world gone mad, a nation composed only of themselves—a nation of two.

Kurt Vonnegut's poetic words hold a special significance in Caitlin and Joe's shared story. It all began in a picturesque little town in Switzerland overlooking Lake Geneva and surrounded by rolling vineyards. Here in Nyon, the two met in high school and were soon to become totally inseparable. For over a decade since, across distances, through great loss and hard fought victory, they have immersed themselves in the tremendous pursuit of loving one another well. When we first had the chance to meet Caitlin & Joe, taking a drive through the Swiss countryside, I asked what they most enjoyed doing together. Joe's thoughtful response was, "we love just existing in each other's company". To anyone who has observed these two, the truth of this is evident: Their love for one another is effortless, and their admiration for each other is tangible.

The first of July came warm and golden-hued. Energy and excitement was in the air as we arrived at the lovely chateau covered in ivy. What a perfect day to celebrate the love of two incredible people!

Among the Alps and above Lake Geneva, during that brief and sublime time of year when the leaves are a kaleidoscope of gold, bronze, red, and green, two of our favorite lovers celebrated the beginning of their lives together. 

By the grace of God, the destinies of a Romanian girl and a Greek boy became intertwined in Switzerland in early 2014. Their story is one of true inspiration. Through struggles and triumphs together, their commitment and passion toward one another has become so strong it is almost tangible. On hearing their heartfelt story, we couldn't help but fall in love with this couple from all the way across the Atlantic. Ema and I met about six months ago, thanks to Facebook. We've become acquainted just as well as two girls can from such a distance, and we discovered such a fantastic connection in our first few months as friends. Ema is brimming with excitement for life, and an undeniable whimsy that is enchanting. She and Alex are both brilliant minded, deeply convicted, and absolutely mad about each other. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect match made in heaven! 

The wedding day was perfection, from the mild autumn weather to the lavish accommodations. We were honored to share this exquisite day with an even more exquisite couple that we are grateful to call friends.

Avec comme décor les Alpes et le lac Léman, pendant cette période sublime de l'année où les feuilles offrent une palette d'or, de bronze, de rouge et de vert, deux de nos amoureux préférés ont célébré le début de leur vie ensemble.

Par la grâce de Dieu, les destins d'une jeune roumaine et d'un jeune homme d’origine grec se sont croisés en Suisse au début de l’année 2014. Leur histoire est une véritable inspiration. Grâce à des épreuves et des triomphes partagés ensemble, leur engagement et leur passion sont devenus si forts qu'ils en sont presque devenus tangibles. En entendant leur histoire sincère, au delà de l’Atlantique, nous n’avons pas pu nous empêcher de tomber amoureux de ce couple. Ema et moi nous sommes rencontrées il y a environ six mois, grâce à Facebook. En dépit de toute distance, nous sommes devenus de plus en plus proches: une connexion forte que l’on peut appeler une belle amitié. Ema est remplie de fascination pour la vie et d’une imagination indéniable qui enchante le cœur. Elle et Alex sont brillants, plein d'esprit, profondément croyants, et absolument fous l’un de l'autre. Nous n'aurions pas pu imaginer un couple mieux assorti!

Le jour du mariage a touché à la perfection, une très belle journée d'automne, un cadre somptueux, une ambiance chaleureuse. Nous avons été honorés de partager cette journée exquise avec un couple encore plus exquis que nous sommes reconnaissants d'appeler des amis.
